Let's face it! Bullying hurts!
If you don't believe me just take a look at this video which, in my opinion, is painful to watch. While you're looking, close your eyes for just a moment. Now, just imagine how this child's mother must feel. The pain and agony has to throb!

ReplyDeleteThese two resources will arm the concerned parent with the insight and the tools to tackle this social threat to our children. Thanks Cherrye for your highly informed guidance and walk through from discovery to resolution. Looking the other way is not a solution and we owe it to all of our kids, young or teens, to take the 'bully by the horns' and Cherrye shows us how it can be done for the benefit of the bullied target and the bully him/herself. These two books are critical resources and I will be recommending them to some teachers I know who will no doubt appreciate them. Yes to questions 1 and 2. Will suggest when I think of something for #3.

ReplyDeleteHi, Cherrye, You are to be commended for the work you are doing on bullying. We are experiencing, what seems to be, nothing but chaos, and our children are exposed to how adults are responding to the problems we are experiencing. I hope parents, teachers, and churches will step up front-and-center to demonstrate a different response. The response you are teaching. Thank you!
